Innovation Generation
This generation is a generation all anew. This represents maturing not only in the manner of tricks, but also balancing them with work, responsibilities, and life after high school. No more hanging out with friends at school, no more hours of spare time most of the day. It's an era of meeting new people, more people with skills. It's the age of understanding techniques, making application, having variety and creativity, and of entering the realm of being "good." The nostalgia of the old times is lost, but now we move into a new future with new possibilities, people, and skills.

Discovery Generation
This was the generation from when I first started doing tricks from the spring of my Sophomore year in high school until the end of high school. It was the FlipCast generation. It was marked by improper techniques, a shallow variety of moves, inadequate teaching ability, and basically newbieness. But more than that it was a generation of fun, having fun with friends, doing tricks at school, letting the world know, just having lots of fun. It's nostalgiac now and was a great time. Although the moves were worse and fruitier, it was possibly the most fun out of all the times to come. This was my boyhood of tricks and a generation I wish I could relive.
